We don’t talk much about this. Your impact is for others to judge and talk about. Suffice it to say, we pay our people as well as we can possibly manage. Our people at Bluebeard in Tacoma, and our partners farther afield where Bluebeard coffee grows, from Mexico to Peru, through wide swaths of East Africa, and the occasional Indonesian. And we suspect we’ll cast a wider net into emerging areas of SE Asia and Africa, as climate change opens up coffee cultivation in some places while making it more difficult in some of its historic footholds.
