Los Guacharos Association is a group of independent, quality-focused small producers in Bruselas, Southern Huila, Colombia. This group is collectively converting to organic agriculture, making their own fertilizers and fungicides and water filtration systems to remove residue from waste water.

This lot is a collection from eight Guacharos growers, growing Caturra, Colombia and Tabi coffee varieties. Cherries are picked at peak ripeness, depulped the same day, fermented until they reach their ideal washing point for maximum sweetness, and fully washed.

We featured coffee from one of these farmers, Jose Uribe Lasso, earlier this year, and whose additional lots are custom blended in Los Guacharos at the farm gate by our fantastic friends and import partners, Shared Source.
