OPEN POSITION: WHOLESALE SALES MANAGER

Job Description:

Collaborate and help manage Bluebeard Coffee Roasters day-to-day and long-term Wholesale coffee strategy and relationships. Initially, Bluebeard’s Wholesale Manager will familiarize themselves with our team and friends and customers, their coffee needs and frequencies of delivery, including cafes, businesses, restaurants and supermarkets, as well as our online sales strategy and production. Look to improve and update current wholesale methods and systems where needed. Foster friendships with our key customers (great people!) and coffee folks we would love to work and spend time with in the Puget Sound and beyond.  Over time, and with day-to-day operational support, Bluebeard’s Wholesale Sales Manager may shift more of their focus toward growing Bluebeard’s wholesale customer base, dovetailing with the opening of a larger coffee roasting facility and cafe in Spring of 2022. 

Coffee experience will be helpful, but not an absolute prerequisite for consideration. Basic computer literacy necessary for completion of tasks. Interest in data parsing and analysis a plus. People who like coffee and people and coffee people are basic litmus tests for all potential Bluebeard Coffee hires. 

Initial Pay: 48k - 60+k base annual salary plus a percentage of new wholesale sales, DOE. Two weeks paid vacation. Paid sick and family leave. Supportive of outside interests, travel, and expertise.
